Pre-Christmas Festivities Cont....

We went to Mark and Katie's for a little get together with Marks family and our family last weekend. It was so much fun, Katie cooked lots of yummy food and even had a very nice game of dirty santa! Thanks for such a fun time, the boys always love seeing their Uncle Mark and Aunt Kate!
Drew trying to figure out how to play the dirty santa game. Actually, I think he was trying to figure out if he was going to get another present:)

Granna helping Alex with his present!

Katie doing such a good job explaining the game:)
We got Drew's PJ's on for the ride home, and found him a little while later in one of Katie's showers:) I think it was fun to jump and slide in there with his socks on!

Some Pre-Christmas Festivities!

A couple of weeks ago, we took the boys to Kingston for a candy cane hunt. The candy cane hunt was really just for Drew, but Alex definitely had fun cheering on his big brother:) The hunt and games were supposed to be outside, but since it was a rainy day they ended up moving all the festivities indoors, it turned out to be really fun anyway. We had a great time, and there was even a surprise visit from Santa!

Drew wouldn't go see Santa without Grandad:)

He warmed up a little later, but wouldn't look at the camera...surprise.

Now Alex on the other hand thought Santa was the greatest thing, well mostly Santa's beard:)

They also had games for the kids to play. Drew was playing the snowball toss:)

Drew really got into finding the candy canes! He kept going around saying "momma, look at all these candy canes!" I think when it was all over, he had about 30 candy canes:)

Time for Christmas cards!!

Wow, I thought it was hard to get a good picture with one child, it is definitely harder with two! I think at some point we talked about just sending out a card with the dogs on it because they are the only ones that would cooperate:) It has been pretty funny looking through some of our attempts though! Anyway, I think we managed to get one worthy of a Christmas card in there somewhere:) I'm really excited this year because we have decided to get our cards from Shutterfly. I have ordered photo books and cards from them in the past, and they always deliver on their products...always such great quality! This year is even better because just for posting about them, they are offering me 50 free photo cards, just go here to find out how you can get the same great deal!
